So very true.

Not in my opinion. They may be a great substitute depending on one's situation and location but they can never replace paperbacks. I am quite attached to my books and I derive a certain satisfaction seated curled somewhere, nose-deep in a book, thoroughly enjoying a good story. No matter the level of convenience associated with ebooks they could never trump paperbacks.

Maybe maybe not. Some of us are used to the dear old paperback that I can't envision life without them and yet with these tech milestones we may just toe the line and go electronic fulltime.

I love E-Books. I think theyve revolutionised reading and made it more accessible to those who may not necessarily read otherwise. However, if given the choice, I would alway opt for a paperbook. I think they just add to the experience in so many ways

E books are the future.

It’s like the mobile phone replaced the standard dial up a number land line.

Change comes and is accepted eventually.

☺️

Paperbacks will be vintage one day and a collectible item 👍🏼

The old must always make way for the new.

That’s the way life should be. ☺️

I love ebooks but if paperbacks were completely replaced it would be a sad day in our history. So while I think ebooks should be the norm, I dont want paperbacks to dissapear.

I personally like to keep hard copies of my favourite books, as I like the physical feel. However, on the other hand, I will admit that e-books are much more convenient. It's not a problem if I want to carry hundreds of books with me in e-book form, which would be difficult with hard copies. So I think a bit of both is good, hard copies of those you want to keep on your bookshelf and e-books of your complete library.

E books are very convenient. There's a possibility they will replace traditional books especially when governments pass laws against cutting of trees due to global warming.

I will never replace my books with E books. The feeling of being able to sit and look through my own personal library, smell the book smell, and touch the pages can never be replaced by the internet. Reading is meant for time away from technology and the field of our phones.
