Brandy strength and courage made him exceptional and I loved how the author had described his character. I also love Zhang Young fighting abilities.

For me... I’ll pick Brandy’s uncle Skinner. He took proper care of her many years before she even met many other characters in this book. If not for Skinner there would be no Brandy.

This is such a hard choice. I enjoyed them all equally, but if I had to choose one I would say Skinner. This book was full of characters who showed bravery, fought for what they believed in, made sacrifices for those they loved, and showed what it is to pour in to those you care. However, in the moment of crisis Skinner didn’t hesitate. He faced the hard and was there for Brandy in every way that she needed. He knew that he wasn’t just to get her off the ship, but that by protecting her in the moment he was taking her in for life no matter the consequences.

I agree with you. Zangh is definitely it for me. He is truly a person who can be likened to a drum filled with knowledge. I loved how he helped Brandy grow

Brandy and Zhong should get the best supporting character award. Brandy and her story and Zhong's fighting style and protection were likeable.

Brandy definitely had a lot of wonderful people in her corner. Skinner was the most loyal and stayed by her side right from when her parents were murdered. But I also liked Zhang Yong a lot. His patience and skill were truly unmatched. I liked how he still balanced things out and remained firm with Brandy. He was like a fatherly figure. So I would say that Skinner and Zhang Yong were my favorite supporting characters.

Zhang Yong was also my favorite supporting character! I feel like he didn’t get enough attention in the book. He had an interesting fighting style for sure, was able to train Brandy’s little group, and was also a major voice of reason with his words of wisdom. He could have been more important in the story, but I’m fine with what we got.

There were many good characters in this book.
Brandy was teachable, fierce, brave. John Edwards is the character that every story has, a strong hero affectionate, God fearing. Skinner was the father figure, loving, kind and protective. But, my favorite is Zhang because of the lessons he teaches us all throughout the book.

Without a question, Brandy is my favorite character. Her character could have learned a lot from her. Her tenacity was outstanding.
