I am certainly fascinated by the idea that this book delineates. Thank you for writing this.

It's very interesting idea to talk with a Satan. May God forgive us, Satan can never teach anything good to us. Thanks for your informative review.

Yeah you would think that Satan would be described in more detail if the character sees him, so the viewers know how to react. Thanks for the review!

I remember reading the sample of this book when it was book of the day recently. I found the premise so interesting, and you have just solidified my feelings. I thoroughly enjoyed your review and found your insight into the story fascinating.
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts!

kandscreeley wrote: โ†‘23 Apr 2018, 07:26 I'm still unsure about this book. I guess it could be likened to C.S. Lewis's Screwtape Letters which I have read. So, I guess there's nothing really wrong with it. It just gives me this weird feeling in the pit of my stomach. I do appreciate your review, though. It sounds like a very interesting and enlightening book, so I think I'm going to have to reconsider it.
I feel about the same about it... I think the thing that makes it more weird than the Screwtape Letters is that it's presented as non-fiction/memoir, which makes me feel more like the silliness of it is deceptive. I don't know though, could be fun to read-as the reviewer said "with a giant spoonful of salt" ;)

Thanks for another perceptive review! I liked that you questioned the validity of the story and gave reasons why. I agree that it's annoyed when it's not clear who is speaking in back-and-forth conversations. I had that problem with two books I read recently and it was annoying.

Whew, I believe I would be on the edge of my seat as well, the father of lies, I would love to put him in the HOT SEAT. Sounds interesting. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I had to read the book myself afterwards and I am beyond happy that I did.
