I know very little about cystic fibrosis. I look forward to reading about Maynard's life, both the good and the bad. Thanks for the great review!

This sounds like a very inspiring story about perseverance in the face of many challenges. I cannot believe that the author was able to survive past her fourteen year diagnosis despite the lack of medical advances at the time. I am also interested to find out how her mother lost her life so tragically and if her killer was brought to justice.

Amazing! I met a young man who had CF and his brother had it as well but a worse case than his. He told us about all the medication and medical treatments he had to go through. Anyone with CF has a lot to deal with but they always seem to have been made stronger and learn to enjoy the little things. Great review. I cannot wait to read this wonderful life story.

Anna Maynard survived cystic fibrosis and got a double lung transplant. Being able to breath is something most people take for granted. I can only imagine what that meant for Maynard as she effortlessly breathed on her own for the first time she could remember. Since the book began with the trial of her mother's murderer, I can agree with you that I want to know what events lead up to such a thing. It sounds like the book was written well, and I like that Maynard's difficult life was presented in a positive manner.

Spectacular review. I don't know much about the sickness Anna was diagnosed with but her survival is a sign of strength and will, and her story deserves to be told.

This sounds like a very powerful and moving book. I love hearing about true accounts of different people's lives, though it definitely seems like many passages in this book would be emotional and difficult to read. I appreciate that this review doesn't give out any spoilers but still highlights what's important.

It is my first time to know about cystic fibrosis. I can't imagine the difficulties of Maynard having that kind of lung abnormalities. My Every Breath is such a wonderful story to stay connected in the hope of life.

The themes encountered in this book are of a difficult and sad nature, however, the author has skillfully addressed them. The plot is very intriguing and keeps the reader in suspense about the incidents which occurred.

Anna's strength, courage, and determination shine brightly in today's BOTD. In addition to her life-long battle with Cystic Fibrosis and a double lung transplant, she also had to cope with the loss of her mother who was murdered. Inspiring and full of hope, this is a memoir you don't want to miss. Thank you for your amazing review! :-)
