An insightful self-help book "Beyond Pipe Dreams and Platitudes" by Geraldine K. Piorkowski, Ph.D, which explores into the different aspects of life such as love, narcissism, and luck. The author being worked as a clinical psychologist in various workplaces makes the book more appealing.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

I don't usually read non-fiction, but this seems like an interesting book. Out of all the topics you mentioned, I'm particularly interested in narcissism and how luck and chance are underrated. Since the chapters are based on the author's experience as a psychologist, I'm even more intrigued. Thank you for the wonderful review.

It's true that it is hard when things don't go as planned and we bury our emotions rather than deal with them specially when you're an adult and you have a child. It's like you don't have time to breakdown because you have to be strong for the people that count on you. I wish the book was narrowed down to a particular age bracket o status; but anyways, this book, you know I know I gotta check this book out.

Although I love the idea of getting an insight into a psychologist's mind, I do hope the author has permission from her patients to share their stories. I wouldn't like seeing what I've told my therapist suddenly published on a book. Other than that, this seems like a fascinating, thought-provoking book.
Thank you for your concise review.

This type of book isn't my cup of tea, but the author is a very fine writer and the text flows evenly and is very easy to understand. I believe that those looking for some assistance in these areas will find the book helpful. Congratulations to the author on achieving BOTD.

I find the concept that this book is based on fascinating. Self-help books are not for me, however. I tend to think that everything will work out in the end and everything happens for a reason.

I really don't get much idea about the book from the review. But I do love non-fiction. Book all about emotion, love and psychological. Definitely my cup of tea.
