I read both the simple and more complex version of this book both by Verne and found them to be quite a a masterpiece. I found myself to be a Vernian by the time I finished reading.

One of the most imaginative novels of the nineteenth century. I still remember it vividly after having read it many years ago.

I've seen the movie first and read the book much later. As I was reading, I would sometimes mutter, 'In the movie that was..' and completely ruined the reading. Well, not exactly. The book is indeed a long narrative but I enjoyed the storytelling. Especially the part when they drew their 'anchor' and found teeth marks on it.

I just recently read this novel. There are so many classics in the world - you can't read everything at once. I liked the book very much, it helps to be transported to another world mentally, to escape from worries. Whatever one may say, reading is the best way to relax. Okay, one of the best.

I have only seen the movie and I enjoyed it. I'm yet to read the book though I have heard so much about it.

Although I have not read the book, I found the film to be very entertaining. Although some of the creatures depicted in the film were not real, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I definitely want to read the book.
