I read her books as a child .All the books were great, took me back to my childhood. I remembered all the good times I had

A friend and I were literally talking about this the other day. This series is so underrated. I loved it as a little girl and I haven't reread them for years. They're probably some of my favorite books from my childhood.

This was my favorite childhood series. I would read a bit each night before going to bed. It's a great series, however, I enjoyed the first few books more than the rest of them.

I've read all the original Little House books many times over during the last 40 years. I like "Farmer Boy" because I enjoy seeing a different lifestyle than the poor frontier family had. My favorite is a tie between "Little Town on the Prairie" and "These Happy Golden Years". The ridiculous romantic in me found it more enjoyable when Laura grew up, started seeing Almanzo, and got married.
