The book as a comment already said it's jus a short story that doesn't exceed what the movie is about so it's best you watch the movie

The books are not better in any way, but it just is kind of memory of childhood and eases you into watching the movie with preemptive good feeling knowing that it's a childhood core memory you enjoyed in the past.

The book is more entertaining than the movie. There are things in the book you wouldn't see when you watch the movie.

I want to read the original snow white book without censorship or change for the kids.

I read it before seeing the movie and I must confess the book was way better. I have seen people praise the movie all I do is tell them to wait till they read the book.
