Sounds like a delightful book, full of intrigue on the adult side, but with some magical moments weaved in by the children. Thanks for a great review.

A vacation interrupted by dark family secrets is narrated by June Gillam in his book, "House of Eire". I'll read this book.

The concept sounds cool, but I don’t like it when a book is a stand alone while also in a series. Great review!

This is another intriguing book to put on the TBR list. I loved the description of Ed calling his HIllary, "Chicadee." Thanks for the excellent review!

I was already thinking who goes on vacation to another country with a friend and their child unless you also have a child their age. I am sure that adds an interesting element. And Ireland is known for mystery and intrigue.

A ghost writer? Your review has piqued my interest. I like that there is a child involved, I feel it gives the story more character. This book is going on my bookshelf. Thank you for a great review.

There is just something so intriguing about dark family secrets. Wrapped up endings sounds appealing, also. :) Sounds like a good read

This sounds exactly like a book I would enjoy. I love novels that feature well-developed characters and have suspense and mystery. I am glad that the book is stand alone and I can jump right in. Congrats on BOTD!

Great character development is a big plus. Reading about the intricate details of an Irish family's history, complete with dark family secrets, sounds like a good way to spend a lazy afternoon. A little change of pace from my usual genre of choice, but your review really has me intrigued. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. You've convinced me to at least give it a chance. 💕
