A story of a dysfunctional family facing different family issues and racial discrimination sounds intriguing. Great review.

I'm not sure that I would be interested in this. I find shallow writing of minorities to be hard to read and I would find the errors to be distracting.

I would like to delve on the intrigues of both Bascomb’s and Karamazov’s families amidst the sex, scandals, sabotage. I wonder whether the young Bascomb, Jerry, will be able to salvage his family business from these ills. Thanks for the review.

Here is a story for human beings, well..most of them. Deeply flawed. I loved how the author highlighetd what is lacking in the characters to interest the readers. Nice honest review.

Sounds like a pretty dramatic book. I can't say I'm so crazy about that, but I also can't say I'm not the slightest bit curious. Stories about dysfunctional siblings usually saddens me as I can't really relate to them. Nonetheless, would like to read it because of the recommendation to mature audiences with lots of life experiences. Thanks for the review.

Thank you for sharing your review with us. From the sample pages I read, I can agree with you that the characters are believable and the dialogue is realistic. The author goes to great lengths to ensure the reader is in the moment by using many details.

Awesome job on review, very detailed. I personally probably wont read this one, just not my type of story. But I can see that even with the flash the controversy in the story will keep you reading it. It is too bad that racism was used to get reader to feel sympathy toward a character. Congratulations on BOTD.

I don't know if this book is really my cup of tea. I have enjoyed books based on business politics and the like before, but this one just doesn't really catch my eye. Its treatment of minorities and the proofreading errors are huge issues for me as well. Thank you for the insightful review.

Family drama, great character development...and sexual themes. Sounds like a combination I'll have fun with. Nice review

Doesn't sound like my type of read. I thought it was a book about war and that there would be a lot of action, but your review has proved me otherwise.
But the path I’ve chosen has always been the right one, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. :)

I don’t believe this one is for me. The sexual content alone would make it so. 😕

Thanks for reviewing. But family drama isn't something I look forward to. It's also why I probably won't read this one either but I'm still gonna put this on my list since it sounded so intriguing. The errors are usual especially if the author is new so I don't really mind.

I liked how you mentioned about the insensitivity on the minority. I always find authors putting bisexuals just for sexual purposes. It's a pet peeve of mine. Anyways, thanks for this review. This book sounds like a mexican drama though.
