I love Agatha Christie! It sounds like the author took his time organizing this mystery. The clues are all there so the reader MIGHT be able to figure it out. I love that the detectives' relationship is developed.

Great review. As a fan of both Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes this definitely sounds like the type of book I'd enjoy. The easy banter between the characters and the possibility of solving two mysteries has me ready to jump into this novel. Congrats on being BOTD.

What a review!! I really love the way it is written.
I love reading the book which is all about suspense. It binds your attention so much so that even when you are not reading you tend to think about what happens next.
Hope to enjoy it.

Oh man. I enjoyed reading this review so much. And the book sounds like the kind of historical mystery I love sinking my teeth into. Break out Clue, I want to play now. Thanks for your clever and insightful review!
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

The way the review was presented was interesting, unique and amusing at the same time. I usually able to identify the perpetrator whenever I read a mystery or whodunit theme. I am excited If I would also be successful with this one.

Brilliant review! It made me chuckle. I am beginning chapter 2 and the mental gymnastics is beginning already. Figuring out who 'dunnit' is like completing a really challenging puzzle.

Inspector Piorot and Agatha Christie - a story that can be held up to that standard piques my interest.

Am not a lover of crime mystery stories but Goodnight Irene stole my heart. After going through the review I must admit that this book sounds enchanting and I must read it. Great review!

I loved the way you gave your review. I do love a good whodunit and this book sounds perfect. I love trying to solve these type mysteries before the end to see if I was right. Thank you for your review.

Goodnight Irene is a gory scene that depicts mysterious murder cases.Despite the gory scenes the relationship between William and Manory lightens the mood.

This seems like an exciting mystery novel that many have compared to Agatha Christie. I'll give it a try.

I do hope that Detective Manory was able to solve the rape and murder case that puzzled his mother for so many years. Great review as usual.

I loved your review even though I am not into courtroom dramas. This made me decide this book is not for me to read. I'm glad you've learned a lot of slang words in it. A perfect rating from you means it will not let down the lovers of courtroom dramas.
