This is one of the best books I've ever come accross. The author did a great job with the characters. Just loved it. Congrats.

There's quite a lot to get from this book. I like that the author brought so many interesting issues together in one plot. As for the cliffhanger, I'll love to see where he takes us to next. Great review.

This is a book that I would read . It has suspense bit not to the point where you dont want to read it. I think it's well written and and worth the time to get to know each character and how the end is going to be.

The Expansion by Christoph Martin is a #Crime #Thriller that revolves around the #Mystery behind the murder that springs from the #Panama Canal expansion project.

Thanks for the review.

This was BOTD before too, and your review made it even more interesting. I also don't like books that end with an obvious cliffhanger. I liked that you included about the backstories of the characters providing context to the story. Thanks for the review!

Lovely review. This certainly looks like the one for me. Consistent plot twists and an unpredictable ending are always admirable for a thriller novel. It seems the book also deals well with the themes of corruption and illicit affairs of the corporate world. Thanks for this lively and intriguing review of the book.

I doubt that this thriller has the sort of subject matter that would interest me. Reading about corporate business deals would probably put me to sleep. From the sample I read, the writing style is quite good, but I can’t relate to the characters.

Since the book is a political thriller with lots of action and intrigue, I think Max's adventures have something for every kind of reader. The expansion of the Panama Canal is an excellent pretext to develop a fast-paced novel. Hopefully, the cliffhanger will be explained in a future book. Thanks for your review!

I've just read it and I recommend everybody to read it! I think it's the best Russian book I have ever come across. It has a great premise. Thanks for the review.

This book doesn't sound like it would be my cup of tea, although I appreciate the work the author went to in creating it. I enjoyed your detailed and informative review. It sounds like a perfect book for those who enjoy thrillers!

I love historical dramas and I learned about the low-key deals that were struck during the bids to gain control of the Panama Canal. This is a motivational book. However, I do not like cliffhanger endings

Sounds interesting, but I've been disappointed with this kind of book before when the premise looks amazing but the execution ends up being 'meh' at best.

I would have still picked it up based on your review, but I can't stand books that insist on having a sequel. I've always felt that the first book in a series should be completely concluded with all lose ends tied up.
