The idea of a boy who is forced to do the unthinkable to survive is both chilling and compelling. I love that this fictional book is set in the future. I’m interested in checking it out and seeing how Lemba’s journey ends.

Congrats on BOTD. Despite his hardships as a child soldier, I'm glad to know that Lemba will have a happy ending.

This is an interesting crime fiction thriller novel highlighting Congolese people, civil war, family, survival, passion, hope, and unique characterization. The book is temporarily free on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD selection.
