Abusing a child is so devastating to a child.
I can only imagine the trauma and psychological effect it would have on that child.
I would love to discover how it turned out for Chloe.
Nice review.
You did a great job.

I tend to stay away from stories about child abuse and neglect, because, as a mother, I find it unbearable to think a mother could abuse her innocent, helpless child. This is a really good review, and I learn head on what to expect if I decide to read this. Thank you.

It is a serious subject and the book seems to have covered it well. Thanks for a well brought out review.

Thanks for this great review.
Being abused by one's own mother is so disheartening.
I would love to know how it turned out for Chloe.

What pain Chloe must have felt. I am fan of horror stories but not the kind involving the suffering of children. The review is nicely written but I would be avoiding the book for already said reason.

I think it must be really terrible to be abused by one's own parents. I hope Chloe was able to have a happy life eventually.

Good review. Sometimes the descriptions of abuse actually help accentuate the mood and tone of the story. Hopefully this makes people see what some people have had to live through.

A mother ought to act as guide to her kids. It is depressing to see a mother being abusive to her progeny. I'm looking forward to reading it.

It is an interesting book and I thing it should be read by people from 16 and above to avoid making children feel really rejected or maltreated

Child abuse as common as it is is shocking, the incidence of parents consciously committing acts that harm the very children they are supposed to be nurturing is a sad reality in our society. Great review I must say.
Thank you.
