Sounds similar to Sorkin's A Few Good Men, which is one of my favorite stories. If this book is as good as you say I will have to pick it up. Thanks for your review.
We’re gonna need a bigger bookshelf.

I'm more of a character-driven than a plot-driven reader. But I do understand that this genre demands it. Nevertheless, the military justice book is not a read for me. Thank you for an excellent review.

The story seems to be really interesting, but I'm not into reading about the military. Thanks for the review!

The book relates in so many factors of how the military life feels like in-depth and its core relation to justice and injustices in the society, quite insightful.

Thank you for the outstanding review! I would never have suspected there could be any humor in a book with this kind of heavy subject! That piqued my interest more than anything else about this book because I love an intense story that can relieve some of the tension with a touch of humor along the way! I am adding this one to my want-to-read list!

The plot seems interesting since it is based on a story that includes the military. It also contains some unpredictable twists. It looks like a good option for those who like this type of reading that causes deep thought.

Well done with an in-depth account of the contents. Millitary intrigue and mystery plays out in the media ,but I have only seen occasional plausible fictional plots, this counts as one of those.

I definitely like a dynamic plot, but stories about military justice aren't typically my thing. We'll see though.

I selected this book because stories about military justice typically promise to be entertaining and informative. Author Michael Waddington exceeded all my expectations for this novel; its intense plot and relatable characters added depth and power to the unfolding drama. At no point in this story did the energy wane, and it was equally unpredictable and believable. With such a dynamic plot, I was surprised at how compelling the characters were, especially the protagonist. This author does this most notably by weaving defining moments of Max's childhood into his thoughts and actions as a military officer. After reading this, I found myself wondering how my words to my own children may affect them later in life.
Stating the backstories of the characters is one of the most important aspects of character development, in my opinion. And you're right kids take to heart pretty much everything their parents say and do, that's why we should strive to be a good example for our young ones.
I was very glad this book brought back memories to you, and you enjoyed it so much.
Thank you!

This book has caught my interest. I am curious about what happens to Jefferson and the other prisoners. Will Max get them acquitted? Thank you for your informative review.
