I am not keen on local disputes and common-day skirmishes. I may pass on this one. Thanks for the comprehensive review.

It's mind boggling to think the entire story takes place within a 48 hour timeframe. I think this crime thriller is a real page turner. Thank you for the detailed review.

What an interesting potpourri of vigilante justice, drug cartels, retribution, payback and love at first sight. With all these in one, it's a book I wouldn't want to ignore especially because of it's unexpected twist. This appears to be a book that'd keep me wanting more as I flip through the pages. Congrats on BOTD!

This book sounds like an interesting crime thriller, although I might have to put it on my “to read” list for another time. Given the current political climate overall, I’m not exactly in a place where I am in the mood to read anything that contains any kind of ethnic slurs, regardless of whom they refer to or how accurately they fit into the politically incorrect climate of the book’s time period. Still, I don’t want to brush off the otherwise promising novel based on that alone, so I’ll just keep it on the back burner until I’m in a better mood. Thank you for the helpful review.

Well-written and informative review, thank you. The suspenseful narrative sounds very much full of action but with the mentioned themes I would not enjoy it.

The title kind of reminds me of The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo books. This novel was in a whole different direction though
