The writer is clearly strong on mystery, which is great. I hope she might go the extra mile by including better character development in a future book. It's so satisfying to read a mystery that has both.

I hope so too. She has a lot of potential but sadly, she just missed the mark on this one.

I have been a fan of crime novels ever since I read my first Perry Mason. And then there was Nancy Drew. I bet I will have fun investigating these murders with M&M.

Keeping a mystery book lover on his/her toes is a difficult task. As a fellow lover of mysteries, I know almost every trick in the book. :lol2: So, kudos to the author keeping you guessing. Despite the issues you mention, I might just try this out. Thanks for the awesome review!

I think I like the red herring interspersed in the book's chapters the best as nothing beats a good mystery. Thanks for the enjoyable review.

Oh yes! If you enjoyed Nancy Drew books, you'll like this one.

I'm still not sure why you rated this book so high because it seems like this book is lacking a lot. A book that has underdeveloped characters is hard to get into. Thanks for your review.

Honestly? Unless it's a really egregious problem, I round up when I arrive at fractional ratings. That being said, I really did like the mystery aspect of it, so that helped, but I do understand where you're coming from. Thanks for reading!

I love well crafted mysteries, even if the characters are a bit on the weak side, so I might give this one a try nevertheless. Thanks for the review!

The confusing character development and weird, inexplicable relationships might be a bit too much for me to overlook despite everything else that saved the storyline. Splendid review.
