Not always a fan of political/terrorism-themed thrillers, but this one sounds like it goes beyond the tropes, which is good. Thanks for the review.

It seemed to be a very suspenseful, heartpounding novel about terrorism and I can't wait to dig into this book. I am ready to immense myself in a wild race in pursuit of the terrorists as they spread havoc in the world and I hope they get what they deserve from the protagonists, grrrrr!

I just finished reading this book and I enjoyed it. Winnick did a good job of showing Walid's inner conflict as he was seeing a different side of Western society. I liked the book overall and just wished they showed more of Lara's physical strength since she's described as being intelligent and physically fit. I'm also hooked and would read the sequel.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting crime spy novel concerning two government agents on the trail of a terrorist who has a small fission bomb and is not afraid to use it against the Western World. This looks to be worth a second look. Well done.

Sounds like an action packed thriller with a main character who has quite the decision to make - good vs evil.

This isnt typically something I would read, so I will have to pass! Thanks for the review :)

Your review changed my mind about wanting to read the book since the author allows readers to see from each character's perspective. Uri is from a Special Operations of the Israeli Mossad, Lara is a computer whiz, and Walid is indoctrinated by Hezbollah and will need to decide which side he will support. I also liked how you explained the title, East Wind. I may read this one after all.

The sample was exceptionally good at pulling the reader into the story. I wanted to know more about Uri and the story unfolding. I'm much into terriost plot but the book seems promising. The author sounds talented and the review was good as well.

This thriller sounds well-written, but I am apprehensive to read a terrorist-based story at the moment. Maybe some other time! Great review!

What I like most about this book is the fact that the main characters, Lara and Uri, have a detailed background story that makes this novel have a realistic spy narrative. Thanks for the review.

Seems okay the story's about two agents thwarting the terrorists' plans. This doesn't interest me, but other readers might enjoy it. It's great that the characters have great background stories. Nice review.

I am glad that the book is well edited, apart from the handful of punctuation errors that you mentioned. Congrats to the author on the 4/4 rating.

From the review I can't help but want to read the book. A thriller with great descriptions of the characters' back stories, suspense and action that builds to a fantastic climax. At the mention of spies, I was hooked by Lara and Uri's story. Thank you for this wonderful review.

This sounds like a decently constructed book with a great pace! I do like thrillers occasionally, and this seems to be a good one (which will become better once the author runs it through another round of editing to iron out all the minor punctuation errors). Thanks for the review.
