This sounds like a great suspense novel! I will be interested to find out if the protagonist gets his memory back, and what it will reveal when it does return. Great review! Shame to hear about the under-developed bar tender though.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting crime/thriller story about a retired CIA officer who attempts to live his ever diminishing life and try to get a treatment to cure his amnesia but people from his past decide that it is not in their best interests that this old CIA officer remain around. Well done.

This really doesn't sound like a book I'll enjoy. I'm not really into sexual scenes but I'm sure males may enjoy the book. The author sounds unique though.

It's great that the author seamlessly blends crime, medical thriller and romantic drama. But I understand what the reviewer says about the ex-biker chick. Yeah, I just hate it when a woman seems more fantasy like and not real. Or maybe, she really is a spy and that's why something just feels wrong about her. Great review.

I enjoy books that are at locations I have visited. The Dominican Republic is an interesting location for a scene. I love thrillers and mysteries. Excited to read this one

I understand your point about the weak character development. I am glad that you liked the book overall though. Congrats to the author on the 3/4 rating.

This sounds like a very interesting read. I can't imagine being unable to recall anything. I sympathize with Tim Hall. Many thanks for the review and recommending this one; I look forward to grabbing the book and enjoy reading it.

I like the medical mystery that this book promises on account of Tim's loss in memory and as he tries to regain his memory. Thanks for the review.

The fact he loses his wife and his memory is a double whammy. I'm curious as to how this one plays out

This story is about amnesia and the concomitant circumstances around it. I was wondering, it could happen to anyone. Supposing someday, you find yourself being welcomed to a house by its owner, a lady, who seems so nice to you. Then you suspect that she might be attracted to you. And you try to court her, just so gradually that before she knows it you were so close and intimate. Then, "click" it all returns to you, you were in your house and the woman was your wife. End of story. I guess it would be like that, this story. Thanks for the interesting review.

So a character gets into an accident and ends up with memory loss and lost his wife. While the plot is fast-paced, I'll pass on this book. I'm not a fan of explicit sexual content and frequent swearing. Nice review.
