A reporter whose mouth gets her into trouble?? This sounds intriguing. I am impressed by your high praise for the author. Thanks for the exciting recommendation.

It was a great book, as long as you don't mind a bit of foul language. Thanks for your comment.

The book sounds like an interesting mystery. Personally, I don't like bad language especially since this is about a mother with kids that are in school. I think authors in this genre loose potential readers with language that most mothers will never use because the book sounds like a cozy mystery except for the language issues.

Her kids do try to get her to change it, but it's an ongoing battle - one that actually makes the book more fun for some reasons. I understand that some won't enjoy it, though. Thanks for your comment.

Oh Parker, trouble sure does tend to follow you, huh? This not only sounds like fun, but I love mysteries that offer a twist on the standard formula. Also, I'd love to learn more about Parker and how she handles this.

I do love a good story with twists and turns in it, but I'm not much on the murder/mystery/crime genre. Parker is having a really hard time as the book begins, but she sounds to me like the type to rally and succeed despite the odds against her! Thanks for the great review!

Oh, I think you'd enjoy this then! It's got a few twists, and Parker was fabuous! Thanks!

Parker is a strong woman; she struggles, but she's not one to stay down for long. Thanks for your comment!

This sounds like an exciting, fast-paced mystery with a great strong female lead. If the errors are corrected soon, I would love to check this one out. Thanks for the review!

Thankfully, the errors are not extremely distracting. I definitely encourage you to pick up the book anyway. It's a good one. Thanks!

I absolutely love the title of the novel and would pick it up for that reason alone. I'm glad you enjoyed this book, kandscreeley, and it's a pity that one star had to be taken away for grammatical errors. Thanks for this review!

This sounds like a book I would love to read as I like strong female characters as well. Her flaws make her seem more human. I hate to hate off for errors in the book, but, unfortunately, that has to happen too often. Thank you for a wonderful review!
