I know, I'm also a sucker for these books.Kelyn wrote: ↑14 Jun 2019, 23:43 At first glance, it looks like a very interesting book. I love almost anything about the supernatural and being able to see the angel of death definitely qualifies. Suspension of disbelief seems to be somewhat of a problem though, even if the characters are likable and the storyline engaging. I'm not sure whether I'll pick this one up but it's worth considering. Thanks for the heads up!

Ya, it does kinda make your mind switch off a little.Bluebird03 wrote: ↑16 Jun 2019, 14:10 Unfortunately, I have also read books where too much meandering dialog took away from the plot. Thank you for a very thoughtful and insightful review!

Thank YOU so much for your comments! I suppose characters are supposed to fit into certain roles - but sometimes you want the mom to be too strict, or the bestie to say something mean, or the... whatever, you get my drift.danielleamy wrote: ↑24 Jun 2019, 17:26 The plot sounds heartwrenching! But when you described Alex as moving on quickly, it makes me wonder whether I would want to read this book. Also, if the characters all seem to fit into their particular roles too well, I'm not sure if this sounds too predictable for my liking. Thanks for the honest and balanced review, I'd have to think about this one!
I really appreciate your thoughts, thanks
