This is true! It also made his character more relatable. Thanks for stopping by and reading my review!Jlbaird85 wrote: ↑20 May 2019, 15:17 Thank you for the excellent review! This sounds like a very intense read with his girlfriend being murdered and then a diagnosis of cancer! It is a lot for a character to handle, but finding one's way through the struggles of life are what a good book is made of!

Yes, it had me confused! Thanks for the comments!c4bersg1rl wrote: ↑31 May 2019, 16:30 Sounds like the clues that twist and turn you around to confuse the reader into believing the murder is someone else. Intriguing.

Thanks for the nice comments!Soonerchick656 wrote: ↑06 Jun 2019, 01:23 Wow! I love crime novels and I think this will be one that I read. Sean's life is thrown into chaos at the horrendous loss of his girlfriend and his cancer diagnosis. Then along comes little Kaleigh who befriends Sean and together they find a little sunshine in an otherwise dark world. I agree with the reviewer that this would not be a good read for children just because of the rape at the beginning and the vulgarity that is in the book. Great review and congrats to the author on being BOTD!!

Thanks for the review. It gave me a real taste for the flavor of the book. And I think some of the best stories are when the characters take us on a journey and they are very different people when they are finished than when they started. And hopefully, so are we too.
You did a good review. Thanks for your help.
Sincerely, Laura-Lee
"You are worthy to take the book,
and to open its to seals,
for You were slain and have redeemed us to God,
by your blood, out of every tribe and tongue and people and Nation." Rev. 5:9
