First of, I love the books take on art.We may not always see what the artist saw, but such is the diverse nature of art.
Overall I love the review and I am sure I would love the book too. Ato's adventures are very inviting and make me want to be a part of them.

I don't think you'll regret it. The author's ideas are original and the story is well-written. Besides, art is often a means of escape from the harsh realities of life. I have often found myself transported to different other worlds through art.

This sounds like a great fantasy novel with a subtle philosophical bent. Ato also comes across as a well developed character which I like. Thanks for the review.

Thank you. I guess it was much easier for me to write this review because I liked so many different aspects of the book.

Thank you. I have noticed the allegory and I wanted to make the philosophical vein visible in the review too. I think it is wonderful when a book has also a deeper message even if it primarily targets young adult fantasy fans. Adult readers could also enjoy reading this novel. I know I did.

I love the idea of painting a world and then being able to enter it. Amazing.

I think I was already convinced from the second paragraph of your review. Honestly, it's such a brilliant one, got me thinking the vibe from the book might have rubbed off on you a bit because I felt like I was already reading the book itself. Your use of futuristic tense was also an excellent approach for describing the theme of the book. I loved the book cover at first sight I guess because of its animate feature, and I would love to read it despite not being so much of a Sci-fi fan. Splendid review. :)

Sounds like an adventurous story that's worth reading. I want to gain more insight about Ato and Iro relationship, which is why i'll add the book in my bookshelf. It's kind of you to volunteer to proofread the book. That was an incredible move. Kudos.
