I have read a few pages of the sample and I thought it was all about atrocities committed against humanity during WWII. The review has opened my eyes to the real issue the author had in mind. Of course I missed it but now I can see that the book title has it all. Thanks for the great review

Thank you for your review :) I think the question of how beneficial immortality would be has crossed almost everyone's mind. The religious aspects of the book turn me off so I don't think this is a book for me, but I'm glad you enjoyed it and I think those without my religious hangups would enjoy it too :)

The story sounds interesting but not one I'll like to read. It seems to be a lot about Buddhism and the Buddhist culture which I'm not interested in. Anyways, I enjoyed the review, thanks.

I am on the fence with this book. But I am adding it to my list anyways. I might change my mind after.

Sounds interesting. The thought that Jesus is not from Earth has been touched on in quite a few fictions, although if it is something just put in as a throwaway revelation I can see how it would be frustrating. It sounds like it could be a good read for paranormal/ historical fiction fans though.

I like the good verses evil theme and the idea of immortality as a punishment. Thanks for mentioning that.

I enjoy the plot and everything, but I'm not into WWII or immortality or any other sci-fi. So I think I will pass on this book.

This is a science fiction thriller novel on the Holocaust and exploring magic, horror, immortals, ans suspense. The book has a free sample on Amazon Kindle and has an inciteful OnlineBookClub review. I rated the book 4 out of 4 stars. Congrats @BookBaby on the BOTD selection.

I read this and really liked it. The author supposedly has another book coming out this year but I don't think it's a sequel. I hope it is after all because Diary of an Immortal was good.

A well-written, suspenseful story with complex, likable characters! I am glad you enjoyed it, but it is not my genre. Therefore, I will pass on this one. However, fans of history and fantasy books should check it out! Thank you for the detailed review!

There is a line that shouldn't be crossed when it comes to talking about religio s, and I am not sure this book respects that line. However, this seems to be an incredible rear, and I would love picking up such a complex fiction and historical novel. Great job at reviewing it!

The plot involving an immortal warrior reminds me a wee bit of the 1980s movie 'Highlander', with Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery. I probably won't read this one, but it does sound like a weel written story for those who like the fantasy stuff.
