I’m really impressed by what the reviewer says about the book. Looking at the Amazon page, I wasn’t sure that this was my kind of book, but after reading this review, I’m starting to rethink that idea and consider this one a bit more.

I have spent a great deal of time in Wisconsin and the beautiful area that is the setting of this book. The author does such a masterful job of creating Tinker’s Grove that I actually stopped to Google the history of the area to see what was real and what was fantasy. Excellent work indeed! Thanks for the great review!

The inclusion and mix of culture, myth, and folklore is so incredible. I also appreciate the prophecy angle. Its so inspiring for a new author to have such a great hold on their world building and character development. I will have to add this to my reading list.

It seems that you enjoyed reading this book. I am neither an urban fantasy enthusiast and so I will have to pass. Nevertheless, I take note of the superlative character development by the author.

It's definitely an interesting take. It reminds me of this other series I read ages ago, lord the name of it escapes me but it was very celtic/fae fantasy based, and I will admitted more of a, uh... "Woman's novel" but I liked the idea then and I'm very much digging it now. I'm definitely going to be interested in reading this one here.

Writing an urban fantasy is difficult enough, so hats off to the author! Great review by the way! Also, i like the concept of it wheb the character is struggling to be on the dark side or the good side. It sounded realistic since it's the kid's new discovery and if hasn't had doubts which one to choose ( esp because power can really make you drunk) then it would be a totally different story. Would gladly bump this to my to-read list.

I'm not a huge fantasy fan, but I've never read urban fantasy. Great review. I can't wait to give this book a try. I just hope that starting sentences with verbs quite often isn't off setting to me.

Loved the sample. I was so captured by Conor's journey and meetings with strange folks that I didn't want it to end. This book is going on my to read pile.

I love urban fantasy and this review makes me very interested in the story. I'd like to find out what happens to Conor and if he accepts his destiny.

I am not a fan of urban fantasy. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the sample and look forward to reading the rest of the novel. Your review was very informative and really highlights the strengths of this novel. Great job!

I had not heard of urban fantasy until today. The plot of this book does not really entice me but it comes so highly praised and recommended that I am somewhat interested.
