Space operas are not books I tend to enjoy personally, but this one sounds exciting and well-written for the right audience. Great review!

While I normally do not pay any mind to alien stories, this one caught my attention! I like how the author understands the changes that have happened with this genre over the years, so I will have to check this one out. Congrats to the author on BOTD! :)

I do not enjoy science fiction, and I particularly dislike space operas, so this book is not for me. I will keep it in mind though, because I have friends who enjoy the subgenre.
There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears a human soul!

This is not one of my preferred genres yet you make this book sound so interesting and appealing. I just might give this one a try sometime in the near future. Thank you for the well rounded review!

This soap-opera science-fiction novel sounds like it is full of action and adventure where the author does a great job building a unique world between humans and aliens. Great review!

Sci-Fi stories are my favorites. I usually choose one which is well-crafted, steeped in world building. That way, I would be awed with the creativeness of the author regarding alien settings and culture. Needless to say, a good author must infuse so much research in his works regarding new discoveries in astronomy. Out-of-this-world technologies and recent cosmological understandings would enrich the content of a Sci-Fi novel. It seems this novel has much to offer. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for an excellent review! :D

I appreciated your brief description and history of space operas. Clearly, the author of the book did a great job of creating memorable characters and fictional locations.

The combination of humans and Aliens, set in the 23rd-century sounds interesting. As I'm not very much interested in science fiction so i will pass it up. congratulations on BOTD.
