This sounds like a book with some action. Thanks for a concise review.

It's too bad. It sounds like this had the makings of a good book, but, didn't live up to it's potential. Hopefully the author will take your criticism to heart and fix the problems. Thank you for the review.

I do hope the author fixes a few things, but there may be some who would enjoy it in its current state as well. Thanks for commenting.

Yes, the technique of telling instead of showing is becoming popular nowadays, but an author should use this technique only in cases, where the plain description might confuse the readers. In the genre of thriller its best to show than tell, so that the readers can feel the tension and excitement along with the protagonist. 8) But your review mentions, that you were still able to enjoy the book. :D Thank you for the detailed and honest review. :)

I definitely think the book has promise, but I think there are a few things the author can do to make it better. It's a great premise, and if the author were to show a bit more than tell, it would be really exciting and suspenseful. Thanks so much for your comment.

I hope you enjoy it, too! It was interesting and a bit unique to be sure. I know there are those that won't mind a bit of a slower pace.

Thanks for the review. I feel as though this genre is being - if not overdone, then surely done a lot - and so, it needs to be kind of spectacular to make it through. It sounds like it didn't and I think I would have made the same judgement.

That's actually a good assessment. I think it can be special but it needs some work. Thanks.

Oh dang. I hate when that happens. It sucks that the book needs so much editing and that the execution isn't done well. I'd love to learn more about what happens with GenMod and our protagonists but I think I'll pass on this.
