While I like the additional stories added, but I think the author over stretch it, so I'll definitely count it as a fictional story, or like being adapted from a true story, because biblical history are true and real.

It seems as if the book is a fiction based on regligious events from the Bible. With this, I understand the confusion it may present. It might be best to read the Bible/actual events as well.

I think it's both religious and fictional. The Bible is the backbone of the book and the author does not change even a word in the Bible. I however don't think it's a good book for children, unless you are able to to make them understand why Cain married his sister but your son can't.

The book is written based on the account of things that have happened in the Bible and there is a use of Scripture also. So, am of the opinion that it's a religious novel.

The book is religious of course. Since there is use of Scripture and story from the Bible.

This is definitely a religious book in my opinion. That being said, some would disagree because it is a story

I don't think it's religious because it doesn't promote the Christian fate in any way but it's just stories based on or inspired by the Bible so I don't think it's religious

Its more fictional than religious. That said, i would not give it to children even those who know the true stories, because it might distort their perception of the true stories and the lessons behind them.

I would say it’s more fictional, based on the Bible, like how historical fiction works. The basis is there, but the extra parts the author puts in helps shape it.

When it comes to fiction that revolves around religion how do you think it should be treated? I am always torn between viewing it a sacrilegious and just another historical fiction. I don't have this problem with historical fiction focusing on other areas. Is it silly to feel hesitant when it comes to historical religious fiction?

I would say that the book is fictional religion as it is a book following the fictional genre but includes many connections to religion and religious plot points and sybolyism which are key to the story.

I think it is a fiction based on religious grounds. Children and others who do not know the true stories can still read this book

Since the book falls under the Historical Fiction category, it's a fiction that views the Bible from the author's own perspective, covering the book of Genesis and talks about Adam, Eve, Cain, and Abel. I guess it's called Biblical Fiction?

Though the story-line is fictitious in nature, the book itself is biblical taking into account the biblical stories used and their intended purpose.
