This book was fascinating and amazing. The creation story began to make sense to me when I read it. My only reservation was concerning the exaggeration of some stories. This book deserves a 4-star rating.

The book is great. The author's personal take on the story makes it enjoyable to read. He expands upon the motivations of characters and explores their world in depth. As a non-christian, I cannot say how true it stays to the Bible, but most reviews say it is.

Though this novel evoked critical thoughts and connected well with the author's straightforward writing style, I would give the book 2 out of 4 stars as it lacked authenticity and creativity. Also, there was a meek portrayal of women in the novel which is disheartening.

The author is very creative with his thinking and story telling. It made me understand the biblical story of creation more.

Exactly! The author tried to make sense of the story in relation to our everyday lives and also what is obtainable scientifically (especially when it comes to reproduction.)

This is a nice biblical history book, the inclusion of Bible verses from the Bible for clarification is something I admire about the book. I give this book a rating of 4 stars. And I reccomend it for every Christian; they ought to know their roots.

The story is a good work of imagination, but it lacks coherence. I dislike the many contradictions and inconsistencies in it. I rated it 3 out of 4 stars.

I think it should be emphasized that the book is not theology. There are many controversial ideas in it that have no basis in the Bible. For instance, the giants building the ark with Noah.

Killing Abel is a book that adds more beauty to the Bible and in fact makes it fun to read. The author imagination filled a lot of gaps and it also tried to describe what happened in between those stories in the bible. I love this book and i will rate it 4 out of 4 stars.

The author did a fantastic job by putting his imagination and perspective on some events in the Bible into writing, I love how he developed the characters and his style of writing was superb.

I was really intrigued by "Killing Abel". Being an historical book based on the Bible, I really enjoy the way the author portrayed the story, making it his own narrative.
