You are right about the book cover - it looks amateurish and doesn’t reflect the complexity of the plot. Thanks for a thorough review.

The story seems pretty interesting. I like the whole cyber war and terrorism concept. From what I read of the sample pages and your review, it looks like I will definitely be reading this book. I absolutely enjoyed the brother sister banter in those sample pages provided. Congrats to the author as well as you for a wonderful review.

It would be good to read but I would start with reading the first book in the series first and then the other books that follow before this book.

This truly sounds like an intensely suspenseful tale with romance, American politics, and suspicious drones woven in! I agree with the initial assessment of the cover art leaving a lot to be desired, but it's nice to hear that it seems to be an effective audiobook, well liked by most. Will have to check it out!

I agree about the book cover, it could be a tad bit more professional. A little romance in a suspense/cyber warfare/thriller/etc. book is alright, I just do not like it when the characters are immersed in it. I am not reading a suspense book to read a romance, for sure. I like the fact that is could be a stand alone novel, I just am not sure about the romance parts. Maybe not my cup of tea at the moment. However, thank you for a great review.

I don't care much for romance but I'd like to see how Cynthia Patterson and her team disrupt terrorist networks via the internet. Great review!

Thanks for the review, the plot does sound very interesting and the sample already gave the impression that the book will be unpredictable, glad to hear that is true.

This was a wonderful/great thorough review! But I'm not sure what to think about the book, to be quite honest. A romance/cyber war on terrorism novel?!? 🤷🤷 I'm not sure if this is a "want to read/interested" -OR- "goin to pass/not interested" book. A drone landing on the White House lawn shutting down traffic, really? Strange and deterred me from the book more.

Ha, I originally thought those were birds on the cover. Drones make much more sense! This sounds like a book I would enjoy. Thanks for the review!

Having a long time relationship with a sergeant sounds interesting. I would like to find out more about the love affair between Cynthia and Sergeant Dan. Sounds interesting and full of suspense.

This book sounds very interesting! A cyber war sounds like something that could very realistically happen in this day and age with all the social media we use.

You are correct, the cyber war part has gotten my attention but even the romance side sounds entertaining. Thanks for the informative review.

Great review, LV2R. It's quite detailed and covers every needed aspect required. I like the setting the author uses, portraying Cynthia's life in both the professional and personal aspects and not making it seem like she exists in a secluded vacuum.

Fantastic, in depth review. It seems as though this book covers a lot of important topics that are relevant today, especially regarding the cyber war. Im not sure whether the 'romance' theme fits with this genre of novel, but it sertainly sounds like an original plot!
