I Am Not Gog, is an unusual title, but the events in the story is a bit unusual as well. Judging from this review the story is centered around revenge as an adult and coping with what happened as a child. Unbelievably, events like this do occur in today's society, but sometimes kids result to taking their own life's, on the other hand, we know this is not a true story. Certainly, anyone reading this book can relate to this story from hearing about it or just having first hand knowledge of this kind of abuse happening to someone they know. I am gamed and would be open to reading this story, simply because the story itself has peaked my interest. This was a good review, with so much passion from the reviewer and I love how she talks about bringing herself back to reality and remembering that the characters in the book are made up.

I read the review and have now added the book to my shelves. The review was excellent and so informative I just can’t wait to finish the current book I am reading because I know I shall be totally observed by “I am not Gog”. I have a sneaking suspicion that this book will remain in my thought process for some time to come. Great review, thank you.

Excellent job on review. This story definitely songs engaging. I get the sense I will be on a roller coaster ride of emotions, laughter, pity and anger. Having been a victim of abuse as a child and adult, I feel this will hit to close to home. I may give it a try congratulations on BOTD.

This book has the feel of a memoir, and I found it to be enjoyable. Though it's fiction, it makes the story of a deranged woman and her activities seem to be life-like.

It is scary to be held hostage by a mentally disturbed woman with a gun. It requires specialists to disarm and ensure that both the victim held hostage and the assailant are safe. But every instance of mental anguish has a beginning. Quite encouraging that you enjoyed the book. Congrats on the book of the day.

The book seems like its filled with lots of emotion. Everybody is got a limit to the amount of pain you can tolerate. Its either it breaks the person and makes the person depressed or wakes the anger in the person. In the book its the latter in the case of Lydia Japhethson, she decided to take revenge on the person responsible for what she went through. Am really interested in the standoff at the supermarket. What really happened? Nice review.

One never really knows what one would do if they were bullied and abused until it happens. The book is a reminder to not judge another until you've walked in their shoes, even if only fictional. It is a book that offers us a window into a world of survival, friendship and change. Thanks for your beautifully written review.

The author dissects the reason behind Lydia's insanity and reveals troubling details about her past. Although this is a work of fiction, his brilliant storytelling adds much believability to the book.

I feel compelled to read this book about likable and relatable characters. It seems to cover how a person might be affected for life when he/she's bullied, and how this person may react before those circumstances.

I admire the braveness of Lydia in the story, but I guess revenge will not make her better. Congrats on a well-written review!

Thank you for your review. I think that it will be quite relatable through the bullying for me. I'm curious to read this and see everything that happens.
