As someone who has traveled extensively and is, even now, living abroad, this is one book I want to read! I just finished the preview on Amazon. That very first section about riding in the back of a truck with guns and drugs, expecting soon to die, captured my interest. LOL I almost got the feeling that it was going to be a humorous book. Your description of it, though, shows that there is more depth there than I assumed from the preview. Thanks for a well-written review! This is one book I'm definitely going to read.

In reading the book’s description, I wasn’t sure that I would like to read it. However, the characters were realistic and actually had problems on their journey. When the sample reading was over, it left me wanting to read more.

I love the title and that element of men bonding while going on an annual adventure. This should be a fun read.

I think this book would be an insightful and emotional story to read filled with adventure, life lessons, and the experiences of life long friendship. It portrays the personal growth and emotional connections of each man as they get older both in family life and in their friendships. Their pact to take yearly trips for adventure and brotherhood sounds like it would be an emotional and happy read.

Good review. Just making friends for the purpose of travelling is somehow to me. Yet it is their choice. One man's meet is another's poison.

This review definitely makes me want to read the book. The thought of friends that haven't talked to each other in a long time holds a special place in my heart.

Re: Official Review: Man Mission by Eytan Uliel

The book reviewed by Beatus sounds appealing to anyone interested in the camaraderie of men, and traveling adventures. However, it is not for me. Thank you for an excellent review and the free sample is well written.

From reading your review, it sounds like it accomplished what the author set out to do. Transfix you into all of the places traveled. Your review was a good one, but this is not my genre.
