I must admit, the cover is quite off-putting. Yet as I was reading your review, I couldn't help but smile. I might just check this one out. Great review! :text-bravo:

Interesting! A story about some problem-solving boys. Since it's delightful and humorous, I'd love to read it. Thanks for the review.

Literary humour novels are some of my favourite reads and the review is detailed. I'll get a copy and read it over the weekend.

From the cover, I had this slight inkling that the book would be eccentric and the review proves that. As a strong lover of wit and subtle humor, I'm so ready to read it, especially as Terry and Bobby are busy "hatching plans for quick financial gain or dabbling in philosophy from their base on the school playground." Thanks for the splendid review.

Well, they really did say not to judge a book by its cover😁
This review is a definite teaser and I long to dig into the pages of this book. It's made me salivate🤗

Many years ago I used to read to my own kids and discovered that well-written children's books are great fun to read and so I still do. This sounds like a book I would enjoy. By the way, tackling such major issues would leave me baffled too. A lovely review, thank you.

This sounds like another great book to check out for my grandnieces. Problem-solving with teamwork and hilarity is a great combination. I also like to expose them to people and places that are very different from their urban life--a small island off the coast of Britain would fit the bill.
