A dogs point of view? Interesting idea and one that I’ll definitely give a read! I love books and I love dogs, so (fingers crossed) I’ll love this book! I’ll post a proper review upon completion.

I like this concept. Animals are so fun, and each one has their own personality. This sounds like an easy and lighthearted read! I'll put it on my list. Thanks.

The reviewer is very passionate about animals, and that’s to her credit. But this book is so uneven that a 4 out of 4 stars rating is totally undeserved in my opinion.

Congrats on the review. I have never owned a dog, though I've always wanted one. I am not very keen on reading a set of letters, but this one might make me feel as if I had a dog.

I will definitely consider reading this book later! I'm such a dog person but I've never had the privilege of having a canine friend before. It'll be cool to see another perspective on what it's like living with furry friends! :D

I look forward to reading this unique book! It sounds like it has "all the feels," so to speak. I've never experienced a book (yet) narrated by an animal. I may own cats, but I am also a big dog lover. This is going to be good.

Due to the fact that narrator, here Shellbee is a very educated person, with PhD, we can judge that she wrote perfectly her book, being a book of 100% emotions, feeling and moving! Although it's claimed that the book lacks cohesion, mainly in the series of letters between them, the whole meaning of the book is far above this small ''inconvenience'' for reader.
The book is destined to those who particularly love animals and know how to communicate with them. In this case the dog seems to behave like a human, without any unsuccessful communication, as animal. Indeed, the dog, that is so much loved by author, can easily communicate with its boss (here Shellbee), and has a plenty of emotions to give her.

While a unique concept for a book, it definitely isn't my cup of tea. Furthermore I question the reviewer's decision to give it 4/4 stars when they themselves outlined several difficulties or failings with the book...

Thanks for your review! As an animal-lover, I think I would enjoy reading a story from a dog's perspective.

Thanks for the review, it sounds like a very cute and lovable story. I always wonder what the animals are thinking and feeling when we bring them home. It must be hard for them to suddenly be parted from their siblings and mother.
