I love stories about character development, though I'm not conversant with circus activities. Thanks for the great review.

I only read a sample of the book and I was hooked. Defiantly willing to buy the whole book. it was well written and showed great descriptive and emotional language. can only imagine how great the book is when the story develops.

Thank you for the informative review. I had no idea what this book was about, but I found the cover intriguing. I can imagine it would be dangerous to be both an alcoholic and a sword swallower! I'm afraid I would get bored with this book because I like to be entertained. I'm sure there are funny parts, but I'm just not into "character development" only. Thanks again for the great review!

A nicely written review, however I am undecided about this book. There is something about the cover art that I have not deciphered. All the same, congrats to the author on #BOTD

Thanks for your interesting review. I like books with strong characters better than books with lots of action and little character development. A sword swallower sounds like an interesting person to meet. I'm going to take a look at this book and add it to my "Want to Read" bookshelf.

The book is talking about two lost souls connecting and helping each other out.lots of lessons to be learned especially for those struggling with addiction and helplessness.sounds like an interesting read.

To err is to be human, thus these characters are human. Each personal path is different and if we are lucky we are able to travel with people who understand our journey. Gary and Duke provide each other with an ally in arms that is common, yet different in their own flawed way. The linkage allows each of them to reach out to the other to a knowing, giving them a sense of belonging. The book provides a diversity for each of the characters bringing them together amidst the social issues that surround them.

An interesting book, I guess some people would like to read the stories of the protagonists. Personally, I prefer different genres but I always appreciate a well-written book.

Well it seems like an interesting book but definitely not my kind of book because of the drugs, alcoholism and nudity used in the book

This book addresses alcohol addiction in two different individuals. The characters use humor in their interactions, though the subject is serious.

I like character driven stories. It would be interesting to read about the interaction between the two characters Gary and Duke and how each reacted to the struggles they were going through.

Great review I wasn’t sure I want to read it till free reading your review. I like stories that show someone’s life and struggles. I’m interested to see how this pair of friends turn out with the stress of alcoholism and addiction.
