This was such a good story packed with lots of adventure! The first time we heard about Sarah's story, I was confused as it seemed to jump to something very unrelated. I loved how it all came together in the end and became almost a real piece of history.

I enjoyed this book too. My favorite parts were from Sarah's perspective. I really liked that there were two story arcs that melded together in such a nice way.

I loved your review on this book. Seems so mysterious the more I want to read this. Left me hanging what was really happening on Sarah for 8 days while she was gone. Thanks and God bless

The Pacific Northwest is a beautiful part of the country. The story sounds quite intriguing and involved and leaves me with many questions so I am heading off to download it. Thank you for a wonderful review.

I myself have never tried an audio book and like you I think I would rather read it. I like your review, this has been in my "want to read" list but never got around to reading it. I'm going to read this next. The story sounds interesting, and I'm guessing Sarah went to another dimension or time.

From what I remember of native American culture in anthropology class nothing comes before family even those members you are not aware of. In this case we are all of one family, so there is not much they will not do to locate their missing granddaughter or substantiate that what she saw was indeed the bear. I am a bit confused after that as to where the story goes so perhaps it is best not to speculate too much. Being a book snob or shall I say a page purist I have a hard time with audio books so I can not get into the those types of versions but more power to the masses.

I read this book and I found it adventurous and exciting as well. I agree that it was easy to visualize the scenes described in the book. To me, the author came across as an experienced story-teller. His story-telling style was such that it appeared there were two narrations side by side, and you realize it was actually the same story. I loved the element of going back in time and imagining life as it would have been thousands of years ago. An enjoyable book till the last page.

Ooooo I definitely love Native American stories and adventure but also the fact that Sarah disappears and is then found adds suspense. Sounds like a book I would love to read. Thanks for your great review

Personally I'm not a big fan of audio books either. My mind tends to wander and I prefer reading books. I am totally intrigued by the storyline. I have always been fascinated by the Native American culture and that makes me want to read this book. This was a wonderful review. Thank you!
