Strong Heart by Charlie Sheldon was a delight to read. Once I started this book, I got lost in the world of the unknown. The relationship between Tom and Sarah starts off as unfamiliar territory and eventually comes together. I liked the Native American folklore that encompassed the story. I would recommend this story for anyone who has family on the top of their list of priorities. For someone in search of a loved one, you can learn a lot from this story. I appreciated the narrative. I enjoyed the imagery that danced in my mind as I turned each page.

I agree that the way Mr. Sheldon revealed the backstory of each character as they interacted with each other works well. That's how we learn the backstories of those we meet in the real world in most cases, but that doesn't mean it's easy to write. I thought he was quite successful at that.

I appreciate how your review makes the distinction between the merits of the book in hard or soft copy as opposed to the audiobook.

I've just finished reading Strong Heart and I think it is an amazing book that spars our imagination. From the ancient occurrences that seem to be happening to a young girl, Sarah, to the vivid description of the Olympic Peninsula National Park.
Good read.

Am not much into fictional stories and Mysticism, it makes me feel boring, but this, I can say is really exceptional following the review, it's really a nice book as it sounds, Sarah was standing alone with not much, that believed in her story, that part made felt like, I should have been there to believe her. It's a nice book though.

I have never tried listening to an audible book, I think I'll stick to reading it. I haven't read anything about native mysticism and this intrigues me. Thank you for your review.

I've read the book but haven't listened to the audiobook version. I'm a big fan of audiobooks and I think this would be a really cool way to listen to the story

Audiobooks are my newest passion, since I can get other things done while “reading” at the same time. Thank you for your review, you’ve gotten my attention, and this is going on my reading (uh...listening) list. It sounds intriguing... well she be found? what happened to her? Can’t wait to find out. And a series to boot, hopefully several good reads.

The theme of the story tends to conjure up a feeling of pity as it portrays the travails of a young and lonely orphan teenager. The official review is on point.

I like young protagonists. They make the story interesting. Sarah seems like a captivating character. I'd like to read her story.
