The review raises interest levels in the book. I concur with the reviewer that there are no noticeable errors. The most interesting aspect of the book is that it proffers a perspective from a birds' point of view. The narrator's voice in this text emerges as didactic which slows down the plot and creates a measure of boredom.

There are not so many books written from the animals' point of view and those few are told from a dog's or a cat's perspective. This one though describes the hawks which, I think, are very beautiful creatures. I like the fact that the author has provided the animals with human emotions and qualities. The message of hope and perseverance in the book is very appealing and the fact that the author weaves a message of human pollution throughout the story, which is a very urgent topic nowadays, is great! Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I love that the author tells of the lives of red-tail hawks through the experiences and adventures of K'lar and D'ree. Very fascinating how this book easily portrays the hardships and resulting perseverance of regal birds that hawks are.
