I can see some inspirations to classic dystopic novels but the author sort of updated it to create a cautionary tale about our future. Thank you for your great review!

What a classical review. I felt I was reading the main book itself yet, I still need to read the main book to quench this suspense. Good job

Whoah! It's really uncanny for me because my father just passed away a few months ago at age 55 too.

Additionally, like you said, I can see the similarities between this novel and George Orwell's classic. I'm sure it's no coincidence that it is set 100 years from 1984.
