I noticed that the same social issues are presented in most coming-of-age novels where racial discrimination is blatant. I look forward to reading more about Yvonne's and her children's lives.

I could imagine there will be some good stories being told. Struggles endured while growing up and then how the author got through it. I personally dont read memoirs, but congratulations on getting BOTD.
