Anger and resentment imprisons a person, and until you forgive will you be set free. This seems like a very good book. Thanks for your honest review.

Thank you for the review. The sample explores the uneasy and restless nature of the youth as they try to comprehend their existence within the family and how they respond. The book relates to the uncertainty of a certain age and the need for guidance by parents and society.

The official review is very good. The example of young Aidan is touching as he learns about his father through letters a reluctant mother allows him to read. Like most parents she prefers to shield him from reality not knowing that growing up is inevitable and sometimes it hurts if the process is not well guided. A great sample.

Why does Aiden's heart ache? I thought Shawn lost his father. You said their should be a guide for going back and forth in the the chapters. I am even more confused after reading this as to who lost whose father.

This is a beautiful telling of the importance of forgiveness. To forgive indeed is divine, and through forgiveness, you set yourself free from the prisons of anger and resentment. Thanks for your well laid out review.

After reading the sample, I was immediately drawn in by how well the author captures the characters' inner thoughts and emotions while going through puberty, awkwardness and trauma - from both the parent and child perspective. After reading your review, I'm now very much looking forward to delving into this story and seeing how it all unfolds, especially given my recent personal choice to keep some distance from the Catholic Church. Thanks for the great summary and review!

Anger hidden within only succeeds in corroding the joy a person should feel in life. Resentment can be life threatening if left to fester. The author has done a good job using biblical passages to highlight the importance of forgiveness. Thanks for the review.

I do agree that anger could be very dangerous if not dealt with quickly. This book appears to focus on emotional needs. I think everyone should own a copy of this book. Beautiful review!

Shawn had to deal with his father's death so early in life and he had to bring himself to the full understanding of forgiveness and letting go. I love the storyline. Thanks for the review

We often don't acknowledge that resentment and anger harm ourselves, to enhance that, we should let it go. Sounds like an interesting read!

For one to go forward in life, such a person has to let go of the past, learn from the past and focus on the future to obtain maximum success. This is forgiveness.

This fiction book talks about faith, forgiveness, family, but also resentment and anger. It seems to bring a drama with a realistic story. Congrats on BOTD to the author! Thanks for the review!
