All characters had a role to play in the plot development. I would, however, vote Steve as my favorite character because of his brevity.

Part of this, I think, is a problem because I used an audiobook instead of a text, and therefore I remember few details of the characters. However, they seemed underdeveloped. Above, someone mentioned too much giggling. In another strand, there was a post talking about how the married couple hardly seemed to know each other. There didn't need t be huge character development to move the story along, but the lack of developed characters is what mostly led me to give the book three stars instead of four.
Lack of character development and a newly wed couple who hardly know each other, would surely not make a good book.

I wish it had strong female characters like her other books. I was hoping this book would be better.

Steve was a more realistic character in the story, but I wish the characterization was much more developed in the story to reflect day to day lifestyles.

All of the characters seemed very flat and stereotypical to me. I genuinely disliked each and every one of them.

I think Steve is my favorite. He's really smart and always seemed to give the characters a push in the right direction.

But based purely on the characters in the book, who would be your choice?

Sharon was a great character in the book! I enjoyed reading about Sharon very much. If I needed a bodyguard, I would choose her as well.
Sharon would not have been my choice for favorite character in the story, but I see the appeal of an energized, spunky, committed heroine-like character and agree she is an amazing choice for favorite character in this story.

I like Kim Jung Lo! He had to act like he was working against the enemy to create a bomb, but then also make a fatal error in its manufacturing so it wouldn't work. Then he also successfully escapes to live peacefully on his farm.

No one character held me enthralled. I really don't have a favorite, but if I had to pick which one I preferred, it would be Sharon because of her kick*** attitude. And as others said above, she would definitely be my bodyguard if I needed one.

I don't think any character was highlighted in a particular manner. Somehow, most of them seemed to me to be developed in equal quantities. I liked Mike's calm but firm and constructive reaction when he got the call from his sister. On the other hand, Steve also revealed a strong personality.

Every character had its own flaws. Steve was still somewhat better than the rest of them. Kelly was just a disaster! I liked the antagonists tho. They had that unique spice in them.

Haha I agree! I kept thinking there was too many giggles and mai-tai’s to take this book seriously.

My favorite character was Kim Jung Lo. He seemed to be the only competent character and I was glad he was able to sabotage the coding for the bomb as well as escape DL and General Lee. I was really happy that he made it home safely and was the one who really saved the day.

He's a really good choice! I actually kind of forgot about his character. I liked him up until he choked the other guy but then I understood why; his life was on the line.
