Despite I am not a biggest fan of the war-themed book I would give this one a try. I believe it touches on a whole range of important questions plus it has a suspense element :)

I am not a huge fan of historical fiction novels, but I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one. The plot was engaging and filled with action, suspense, and unexpected twists and turns! I liked the fast-paced writing style and well-described scenes; some violence scenes gave me goosebumps, though. I would highly recommend it to fans of the genre. It is well worth a read! Therefore, I rated 4 out of 4 stars.

I thought this book was well-written and thought out very well. I know it is part of a series, but I thought it was easy to understand by itself too. I think it was a little repetitive at times but there weren't any loose ends to the story when the book was over.

I really liked this book, I gave it a 4 out of 4 stars. Sarah was one of my favorite characters. My only critique was that the female characters would have had a bigger part in the story.

The Skills of The Warramunga is an interesting historical fiction. I loved the unfolding of the events that led to Colonnel John Cook capture and the subsequent search for him. I loved the novel and rate it at 4 out of 4 stars.

Greg Krater is a fabulous writer, though his style is easy going and sometimes it can be a tad boring but the story is great and all the characters are fun. I would read these books because they have history and war as well scenery all wrapped into a book.

I did not quite enjoy the first book in the trilogy. I am seeing mixed thoughts here. I think this might feel like the first one as well. I will have to see.

Same here! I am also not a fan of the historical-fiction fan. Hope this one turns out good.

LinaMueller wrote: 02 Oct 2019, 06:20 As far as I remember, Skills of the Warramunga is my least liked of the Trilogy. Sarah is almost a non-existent character. It's so sad because she is so cute and charismatic. The storyline is good, but not great. Don't get me wrong: it's a good book. But not as good as the first two, IMHO.
I have just finished reading the book. I rate it 3 out of 4 stars. I must say I agree with you concerning Sarah. Her character is not well-developed. The story is interesting, but I felt it was a drag sometimes.

I love historical novels and so far I am enjoying the read. I have not read the trilogy but feel that it is an average novel so far. Seems like other people are not enjoying this book as much as the others in the trilogy.

Skills of the Warramunga by Greg Kater is very interesting story that I enjoyed from beginning up until the end. The traits, feelings and characters are greatly discussed. I loved the unveiling of the plot, but the ending left me in suspense. I really loved Colonel Cook and Tang Boon because they showed that every cloud has a silver lining.

The skills of the Warramunga is just an intriguing novel. I was awed by the bushcraft skills of the Warramunga. I rate it at 4 out of 4 stars.

I finished reading this book a few days ago and the book, Skills of the Warramunga is a brilliant book. I gave the book 4 out of 4 stars in my review. The book is a war and historical fiction and we can call the book, a stand-alone book. I liked the book very much.
