Having a Wandering Albatross seemed a convenient option.

I really like canines and felines. I like Poudini's character. I like his playfulness.

I choose Albatross, as I really love them. They are rarely seen and are very beautiful birds. Also, they are one of my favourite birds.

Bahaha, I wondered the exact same thing when a cockroach option was mentioned! And some sort of wolf hybrid dog would probably be my top pick too, unless I could pick a dragon.

I thought the pet thing was a bit of a knock off from the Golden Compass novels. Familiars are a common theme in fantasy so an author really has to branch out in imagination to make these not seem like echoes (pardon).

I liked Wolfeá!, though forcibly domesticated and being far from her family, it helped Will in his quest in a nice way.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

I would have to say Dea is the best pet in the book! Everyone but especially fictional characters should have some sort of pet wolf or dog. I can be a little picky when it comes to reading and I had a really hard time getting through The Golden Compass but Pan saved that whole series for me.

That's a tough one. Of those that were depicted, I'm leaning towards a lizard. Absolutely not the suggested cockroach, though.
