Through the reviews by the other authors, the book appears really interesting. The ratings are amazing as well. I loved the excerpt of the book, and the call of adventure in the plot is beckoning for me, as a reader. I'm excited to get on with it. Hoping for an amazing read. :D :D

That's the exact reason why I find it difficult to decide to read this book or not. I'm not drawn so much into the sea adventures, but it does seem an impressive work.

I gave this book 4 stars out of 4 stars i read this book in two sittings. They had a lot of characters, but it was easy to keep up. It’s about to salvage boats from different companies. One was called to get an abandoned boat off the coast and the other is trying to take advantage of The finders keepers rule that is international and applies to boats that are left adrift at sea. They also have two lifeboats, one is missing the other doesn’t know how long it will last. This is a great book. There are plenty of subplots that intertwined with the main plot perfectly. I love this book.

After the first few pages, I knew I would finish this book. The story is very compelling and simply written. The aspect I enjoyed the most was the unfathomable human spirit. When faced with insurmountable odds the human spirit always shines through. The only aspect that gave me pause was some of the vocabularies used for sailing. My overall opinion is a 4 out of 4 stars . The story was action-filled, relatable and suspenseful. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a great read.
I know right. I also read samples of the page when it was the BOTD. It was surprisingly enthralling. The author took me on an adventure for sure.

The cover of the book misled me. I thought it was just another boring book about sailing.

I enjoyed reading Adrift. The story setting and flow is beautiful, full of suspense. The way the story is narrated paints a picture of how dangerous it is to sail in the Northern Pacific Ocean and I am sure those who sailed in this part of the ocean can relate to the story. It kept me going from the first page to the last. I rated the book 4 out of 4 stars and it is a perfect read for those looking for great and mature writing.

My overall opinion of Adrift is that it is a masterfully written book. The characters were well-developed and the pacing was perfect. The author always kept me guessing as to what would happen next.

What I liked most about the book was the author’s deft handling of all the different character narratives and subplots. He wove them all seamlessly together into one cohesive story.

What I liked least is that I thought several of the side characters were written rather stereotypically. I also thought that some of the subplots were tied up a little too cleanly and quickly as the book was drawing to a close. I love a happy ending, but the way circumstances just suddenly and magically fell together for those characters seemed a little convenient to me.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this book to other people to read! I think anyone who loves a good adventure story would enjoy it.

I enjoyed the way the author portrayed the atmosphere of the sea and the nautical world and managed to bring the emotions of the characters out as well. The nautical detail was also impressive and this added to the realism of the book. I also rated it a 4 out of 4 stars.

This book was a great adventure tale. I loved the suspense and how well the characters were developed. I gave this book 4 out of 4 stars. Did anyone else wonder why the author did not exactly say how the fire started or what the freight was that had symbols on it? Did someone sneak something illegal on board?

I've always enjoyed stories that take place on sea from the time I read Life of Pie! I enjoyed the raw, realistic emotions the author brought to life through his exceptional characterization! The novel was the adventure genre I've been wanting to read for awhile!

Reading the sample, I didn't appreciate the story much, but I do like how the author reflects his ideas about the unfathomable human spirit.

I've always enjoyed novels that involve the ocean and sailors (The Old Man and the Sea being my favorite) and now I feel like I've got a new favorite! I loved the characterization and how each individual was versatile. The novel had me on the edge of my seat though I initially didn't expect it to be a thriller. Rated it 4/4.
