ARA Review by Mufasa kibe of As Good As Can Be

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

"As Good As Can Be" by William A. Glass is a heart-wrenching and inspiring memoir about the author's journey as a caregiver to his son, who was born with cerebral palsy. The book provides an intimate glimpse into the life of a family coping with a complex medical condition and navigating the healthcare system.

Glass writes with honesty and sensitivity, detailing the struggles and triumphs of his son's life and the impact it had on their family. He chronicles the physical and emotional challenges they faced, as well as the joyous moments that made it all worthwhile.

One of the most striking aspects of the book is Glass's ability to capture the resilience and courage of his son, despite the numerous obstacles he faced. The author also reflects on his own personal growth, as he learned to come to terms with his son's condition and find meaning in the caregiving role.

"As Good As Can Be" is a beautiful tribute to the power of love and the human spirit. It is a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is hope and strength to be found. The book is a must-read for anyone who has faced adversity or has cared for a loved one with a disability. It is a touching and unforgettable account of a father's love for his son, and the enduring bond that sustains them both. I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5
