ARA Review by Rainbowtrout200 of Defining Moments of a Free Man from a Black Stream

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

The review of “Defining Moments of a Free Man from a Black Stream” by Dr. Frank L. Douglas, has proven to be a learning experience. The author covers a lot of growing, learning moments in his life.

The book is less the measure of a man than it is the overview of a person making a path toward a positive outcome. Over the course of time he molds himself into a useful contributor to his community. Contrarily, his beginnings might have easily pointed to a bleak or short conclusion if his book did not come into existence and show some evidence of his remarkable life.

Finding a way around folding, the heroic author is instead lifting himself up repeatedly. The author chose to conquer his enemies, first inwardly and then outwardly. He dealt with his personal demons and then, one by one, his encounters meant that he had to find ways to approach how he chose how he dealt with frequent issues, abuses, and instrusions on his person by others.

Over time making himself improve, the author’s very gripping personal story shows how he was often noticing that others would put him to a test that he would have to get beyond.

The reality involved in reliving the author’s personal struggles serves as a vivid reminder that obstacles are ever present in our world. How to avoid falling into despair or desperation, and instead keeping wits about hard confrontations is demonstrated with care in this story. One man against the world poses terrible odds that deserve careful consideration, to be certain. Not only are useful insights given, but recollections of alternative routes to take in special situations are related.

The author didn’t stop and say that small steps that counter hardships are enough. He continues onward in order to find more for himself. Better still, he shares his story so that his readers can benefit.
