Very good question. I found that Richard Haight helps us with getting out of our own way. I don't agree with every thing in his book but as far as getting out of our head, yes . Besides that there was also something else, God loves us and Jesus is indeed the way, through love and understanding and the ability to accept this into our everyday lives.

From the book we learn that Jesus is the way, there's no other way and also that God loves us so much because we are His children.

My take away after reading this book is that spiritual matters can be very influential if you don't know what you believe in. I found the element of contradiction present at every point during my reading of this novel.

Well, there is so much to learn from the book but also the thing that inspired me is that spiritual knowledge is also a goodway to engage our lives towards positivity.

I got that if we have faith in the higher power we will always be steered in the right direction. There are some things we can't control so we have to leave it to someone or something wiser than us.

I learned on staying true to one's beliefs. There is no doubt the author has influenced a lot of people so far because of his teachings, something that he couldn't have done if he had doubted his calling.

I learned that with a clarity of thoughts a person can achieve anything and curiosity helps learning new things.

"I would embrace the present moment fully and with passion because it’s only through the present moment that we truly live." Nothing groundbreaking but actually something that we are all aware but it is good to be reminded of it.

To me, the most important message is that we need to focus on the present and let go of the past, and try not to think so much about the future. We can change our lives for the better by living in the moment and being fully present.

There were quite a few but, the one that hit me the most is that faith is the most powerful thing in the world.. meditation and peace of mind is greater than any medication of science.
