That's a nice catch about the book. I didn't realize it until you pointed it out. :techie-studyingbrown:

I was surprised by who it turned out to be. Thought the person would be a new character.

I thought Matt was too obvious a choice, so I did not think it was him. Moreover, my guesses are frequently wrong in these matters. Little did I know...

I never suspected him, I was shocked when the authorities finger print matched with him. He lying tongue were so real.

Me too, I thought it was one of the Germans doing brutality for scaring the town. To make the town's authorities divert their attention in dreadful scene than in concentrating their real enemies.

You're right! I suspected Matt after the two AKA German's spy escaped and engaged in riot.

Nice observation! The j's made Matt withdraw from the MI6 team, thinking of his not part of them.

Hahaha, You're not alone! I thought Jacko was an enemy sent to spy at them.

Well, it was easier if it was already someone within them. After all, revealing the killer as a new one would just not be as thrilling and shocking as one of the people whom they thought was one of them. :wink2:

Same here. With this kind of thinking, I'm guessing you are also a fan of detective stories where the author wants to point out someone so obvious to be a killer just to distract the reader from the real one? :lol2: I have the same reason of not choosing Matt as the one. :techie-studyingbrown: :wink2:

True it did add to the shock factor. Thought they were all good guys working on the same team. :)

Didn't you find Matt suspicious? Because at first, I was suspicious of him but I didn't think he was the one.

My gut feeling was Matt, but I have been wrong so many times, so I tried to push the gut feeling away and enjoy the story without it.

There was always something suspicious about Matt. I really wanted a twist to the tale in the form of a different killer from what I suspected, but it wasn't to be.

I didn’t read this book but I have to say I love a good whodunnit story! And I can tell from people’s comments here that it wasn’t 100% clear who it was who “dunnit.” I love that!
