I am aiming for 2 books per month this year! It is lower than I have set for previous years, but with two littles, I feel like I need to be a bit more realistic!

I'm just aiming to read more books that I read last year. If I stay on my current track, I think I'll definitely reach that goal.

I'm not sure. It should be on the side when I post this. It'll say 2019 reading challenge goal and how many I've read so far. :)

I still can't decide on a realistic target for the number of books I'd like to read :D Thing is I can only read for around 10 minutes a day, so what would you say a good target would be? Surprised to see the large amounts of books people are able to complete, it's really inspiring.

How many books did you read last year, if you don't mind me asking? :techie-reference:

I was going to shoot for thirty books but the other comments on this forum have inspired me! I will be aiming to read 90 books of an appropriate reading level! Someday I hope to have the stamina to be able to read over 100 in a single year! :D

I set the bar at 75 books, have read 19 English books so far. I read a lot of Japanese, Korean and Chinese translated webnovels that update daily chapters. Therefore I’m not to sure how those can count as books. Only started reading English a couple weeks ago but I think I can get 75. ✊😁

For a start I am aiming for 5 each month, the rest of the year. Then from next year God willing, 10 each month.

I set 30 books as a goal.
I thought it was good and huge, but now reading your goals, it's really nothing

I’m gunning for 100. I would set it higher but I already get distracted from work as it is 😂 I’m at 80 read this year currently.

Out of interest, could anyone tell me how to put my goal on here? Do I have to have a certain number of posts/points first? I use Goodreada to track my reading but it’d be nice to have it on here!

I think that is a great starting point! I wish I could be as avid a reader as so many people on this site, but 50-100 books is just not a realistic goal for me right now. It’s nice to see that I am not the only one who has a lower goal than most! Setting attainable goals is important that way I’m not just setting myself up for failure.
